THE ANGLO SAXONS WANT INDEPENDENCE


After my last blog about the Uninformed English Media, I have decided to look at the Anglo Saxon quest for Freedom or English Independence*[68%].On the 5th of May 2011 the people of Scotland return a majority SNP Government & in due course they will give the people. The opportunity in an Independence Referendum.


It seems our Anglo Saxon neighbors are a tad pissed over this,over the past few weeks,you just have to listen to them on Talksport or on various programs on Radio5 & not forgetting their written media I never realize how much the Anglo Saxons despise our existence. When you Google English Independence you come up with some of the following web sites or blogs, www.englishindependence.org, crossofsaintgeorge.net, britologywatch.wordpress.com.All contain various opinions regarding us scrounging Scots[Jocks]


I ask you this how much is London subsidized? The New Wembly Stadium built with National Lottery Funding & Government Aid £798 million, was it English monies that paid for it? If you have not realized London are hosting the Olympics in 2012 at a cost £9.2 billion[www.builberandengineer.co.uk/feature/true-cost-behind-2012-olympics] again National Lottery & Government monies are being used.In the mean time Lottery Funding has seen cuts across most of the UK [is it our billions from Oil & Whisky thats building all this].Yet they have the cheek to say we are subsidized.


I wonder how many millions The Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 are getting from The National Lottery & The Westmidden Government.One quote in particular made me laugh its on 13thspitfire.blogspot.com/2011/05/scottish-independence-implies.html. There is your stupid unionist,then there is your stupid uninformed English unionist media.Why, oh why do I keep reading comments from uninformed  English journalists like Mr Quinten Letts ? Who has used his paper to have a racist rant at Scotland.


Of course they are quick to point out the pit falls of Independence,how can Scotland possibly survive on her own? You see we have the oil,OUR OIL IT BELONGS TO SCOTLAND as under International Boundaries & Laws,the Oil is in our waters.Then we have the monies generated from the tax on Whisky,[OR IS IT MORTGAGED TO THE HILT]which in my opinion has been over taxed by Westminster for years. Oh & not forgetting our tourist industry which would also generate money for our economy.Now I would not dare comment on tax revenues, benefit agencies, etc as I know nothing about that.I would assume that a Scottish Government would continue by taking over the present ones.


As for the Army,Air Force & Navy we would need to keep something if we are to be part of N.A.T.O, we could always buy a few ships ,planes,etc of the English as they seem to be scrapping so much off it. of course we would need to protect our boarders,our fishing grounds, our oil feilds, Nearly forgot about all that money we will make from tidal,wave & offshore wind-farms,yes I think we could cope & survive as an Independent Country.DON'T YOU??

                 THE DAY OUR SCOTLAND TURNED YELLOW

On the 5th of  May 2011 the people of Scotland went to vote on the

 future of their country,little did we know history was about to be made.I like many other S.N.P members & activists thought the party would do well enough to return to Hollyrood for a second term.The whole country was in for a shock as the polling stations closed.

This was the first election that I would be using other forms of media to follow the results as the night progressed, the TV, Radio, online & Twitter. On my browser i had opened,newsnetscotland.com it would keep me going when things got boring, with the  BBC & debate & the crac,was brilliant through the night. I was listening to Radio Scotland & watching STV,for the first time ever I was using twitter not to tweet simply to find out what was happening at the count in Clydebank & for tweets about the Dumbarton count.

The first results to come in was Glasgow,Rutherglen- Lab hold, next East Kilbride S.N.P Gain, Hamilton was next an S.N.P Gain

What was to unfold for the rest of May 6th was amazing, I  watched in disbelief as the S.N.P returned a total of 69 MSPs. This was not supposed to happen under devolution,it was designed so no party could get a majority, especially the S.N.P . Well they were wrong because Scotland's turned YELLOW

In the 80s when Thatcher was in power  & she tried to rip the heart out of SCOTLAND, I wrote this poem ,I was coming home from work & there was a report on the radio about the shipyards on the Clyde could be closed.                                                  

Closing Us Doon

Their closing the shipyerds doon on the clyde

the order books empty the yerds on the slide

they set up a task force wie Government aid

but history dictates nae jobs would be safed

Just look at the miners tae see what wis done

and how Maggie Thatcher closed everyone

then came Mc Gregor to save British Steel

and shut doon "the craig" as part of the deal

Next was Rosyth to face a jobs blow awaiting

the refit but Rifkind said no,Now its the clyde

their trying tae shut doon they're taking yer

jobs tae some English toon
